Our Story

Agoura Hills Appliance Repair was founded in 2007 by David Koresh, a factory-trained technician with twelve years of experience servicing Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances. After spending over a decade working for large national repair companies, David saw an opportunity to do things differently.

“I kept watching companies send untrained techs to work on $15,000 refrigerators,” David recalls. “Homeowners were paying premium prices for subpar work. I knew the Conejo Valley deserved better.”

Starting with a single service van and a small office on Roadside Drive, David built the business one repair at a time. Word spread quickly through Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, and Calabasas that there was finally a local technician who actually understood high-end appliances.

Our Team

Today, Agoura Hills Appliance Repair employs eight certified technicians, each with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience:

• David Koresh — Founder. Sub-Zero/Wolf factory-certified. 30+ years in the trade.
• Marcus Reeves — Lead Tech. Specializes in Miele and Bosch. 12 years experience.
• Tony Aguilar — Senior Tech. Thermador and Viking specialist. 9 years experience.
• James Whitfield — Refrigeration expert. EPA 608 certified. 7 years experience.
• Carlos Mendez — Washer/dryer specialist. 6 years experience.

Every technician on our team carries manufacturer-specific training certifications and keeps current with annual recertification programs. We invest over $12,000 per year in ongoing education.

What Makes Us Different

We specialize in what others avoid. Most appliance repair companies treat a Sub-Zero the same as a Frigidaire. We do not. Luxury appliances have proprietary systems, specialized components, and tighter tolerances. They require technicians who have trained specifically on those brands.

Transparent, honest pricing. Our $79 diagnostic fee is waived with any repair. We provide a written estimate before we start work, and we never upsell parts you do not need.

Genuine OEM parts. We stock the most commonly needed parts for Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador, Miele, Viking, and Bosch right in our vans. That means most repairs are completed in a single visit.

Local accountability. We live and work in the Conejo Valley. Our reputation is our livelihood. When David says he will stand behind a repair, he means it — backed by our 90-day parts and 30-day labor warranty.
